According to www.britneyspears.com , the "In The Zone Tour" has changed names to "The Onyx Hotel Tour". Here is what the Official Britney Spears Website has to say about the new name:

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Just as Internet users were beginning to lose interest in longtime Web wonder Britney Spears, a few sexually provocative magazine covers and a famous smooch with Madonna propelled the pop princess back into favor.

Yes, it's that time again -- when Lycos, America Online and Yahoo! each weigh in with their end-of-year statistics and, as was the case last year and the year before, Spears managed to claw her way near the top of the lists of the most searched-for celebrities.

Until Spears started promoting her new album with a flurry of attention-getting stunts, highlighted by her Sapphic excursion at the MTV Video Music Awards in September, the singer actually fell off Lycos' top-10 list of search terms for several weeks, spokesman Aaron Schatz said. Ultimately, though, she finished in the No. 2 spot overall at Lycos for the year, right behind song-swapping service Kazaa.

At Yahoo! she finished sixth on the overall list of searched-for terms, with one celebrity ahead of her: Eminem.

Yahoo! also reports that the search term receiving the biggest percentage gain year-over-year is, no surprise, Paris Hilton, she of online sex-tape fame. Yahoo! says searches for her went up a mere 212,000%.

Over at AOL, the biggest topic online was the war in Iraq, judging from activity at the Internet service provider's many message boards.

Following the war was politics in general and, in particular, the Democratic party primaries, the California recall election and "The Reagans" miniseries. Celebrities and their scandals also were hot, with Rush Limbaugh, Kobe Bryant and Michael Jackson leading the way.

Reality TV also was popular on AOL message boards, led by "American Idol" and followed by "Survivor," "Paradise Hotel" and "Big Brother."

Apparently, threesomes are quite popular on the Internet, according to Yahoo! The company's list of the most-searched movies is led by the Harry Potter soon-to-be trilogy, and more. It's followed by "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Matrix" trilogies, with "Spider-Man" and "8 Mile" rounding out the top-five searched-for movies.

And Lycos is predicting, based on its growing number of searches, that the movies "The Passion of the Christ," "Troy" and "Catwoman" will be hits.

Speaking of feature films, "Finding Nemo" has the dubious honor of being probably the year's most downloaded movie at peer-to-peer file-sharing services, according to the firm BayTSP. And surprisingly, BayTSP reported, the Miramax film "Shaolin Soccer," which hasn't even been released in the United States, was hugely popular.

Garnering an immense amount of short-lived attention was Al-Jazeera, the Arabic cable news network, which generated three times as many search queries in April than did the word "sex." Driving the interest in Al-Jazeera in March and April was the fact that its Web site featured video of American prisoners of war, Schatz said.

The top TV shows searched for, according to Lycos, were "American Idol," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "The Simpsons" and "Survivor." The top sports stars were Bryant, Anna Kournikova, Michael Jordan, David Beckham and Allen Iverson.

Nielsen//NetRatings is reporting that the top online brand, judging from statistics culled from the first 10 months of the year, will probably be AOL, narrowly outscoring MSN and Yahoo!

The few photos of Spears's wedding were taken by a couple waiting in line to be married after her. The photos show Britney walking down the aisle in a white ball cap and jeans, wearing a nice black coat, according to someone who has seen the photos. The groom looks to be about 6 feet 2, a "big, muscular, healthy-looking guy," the source says. Britney was walked down the aisle by a hotel bellman, and wore her trademark diamond earrings and a pearl necklace. According to a source, the photos are worth between $100,000 and the price of your average Van Gogh.

BRITNEY’S dad Jamie was beside himself with rage yesterday — and literally spat the words: “There was no wedding.”

The pop babe’s mum Lynne — a major influence on her career — refused to answer the doorbell at the mansion Britney bought in Kentwood, Louisiana.

Jason’s dad, who lives in a £70,000 wooden home in the same town, appeared to be taking the news rather differently.

And the new groom’s grandparents Betty and Robert Alexander were toasting the shock news at their nearby home.

He said: “I have spoken to Jason but I know he and Britney’s dad want to get together and come up with a statement.

“This is a real small town and everybody knows everybody else. We’ve always been friends with the Spears family, real good acquaintances.

Dennis said 6ft 2in Jason, a fourth-year college student, dreams of becoming a professional American football star.

Jason’s sister Amanda, 18, said: “My brother usually tells me everything, but I had no idea about this. I knew they were friends and were going to Las Vegas and all that, but as regards all this other stuff . . . Lord.”

She added: “My brother’s a handsome guy. He’s got it all going for him. The girls have always gone for him.

“All Jason’s and Britney’s friends are the same, they hang out with the same crowd. But this — this has shocked me.”

The family revealed that unlike globe-trotting Britney, Jason has rarely strayed far from Kentwood — and was back there last night.

Grandad Robert said he picked the student up in New Orleans and added: “He’d been through a lot and didn’t have much to say.

“Nobody really knows what is going on with this wedding to Jason. But we want Britney to be happy whatever she does. Her happiness is the most important thing.

Here is a copy of an update from Britney's marriage by AOL News confirming that the marriage was just a joke, and she will no longer be married by the end of tomorrow (Monday) night:

"...the couple had arranged an annulment in the presence of several people, including a Las Vegas lawyer, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Spears and Alexander, of Kentwood, La., ''took a joke too far by getting married,'' her record label, Jive Records, said in a statement released to ''Entertainment Tonight.''

''Ms. Spears and Mr. Alexander have filed for an annulment which will become official on Monday,'' read the statement by Sonia Muckle, Jive's vice president of publicity..."

Just when you thought you'd seen it all from Britney Spears, the pop princess, 22, has gotten married -- at a little Vegas chapel, wearing a baseball cap, to a childhood friend, sources close to the singer say. A hotel bellman walked her down the aisle.

But before you make any plans to send wedding gifts, a source close to the pop star insists it was all a joke that went too far, and that Spears is already making plans to annul the marriage.

Spears's husband -- at least for the time being -- is named Jason Allen Alexander, and, like the singer, is from Kentwood, La. The two tied the knot early Saturday morning in Las Vegas at the Little White Wedding Chapel on the Strip, sources tell PEOPLE.

The wedding plan was apparently hatched Friday night while Spears and Alexander were partying at Ghostbar, the hip club in the Palms Casino Hotel. The club's bouncers got word that Spears wanted a limo. One of the hotel's lime-green limos was provided, being driven by a hotel bellman, who shuttled the couple to the Little White Wedding Chapel, a famous quick-hitch place where everybody from Dixie Chick Natalie Maines to Bruce and Demi have tied the knot.

Chapel staff told the couple that they couldn't get married without a license, so the pair was taken by the limo to the Clark County Marriage Bureau office in the downtown Las Vegas courthouse at some point after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday. They applied for and were granted the marriage license, then rode back to the chapel, where they were married.

Spears wore jeans and a baseball cap. Alexander had on a casual shirt. The bellman walked Spears down the aisle. There were no friends or family in attendance.

The whole thing was videotaped by the chapel, and Spears has been showing the world's craziest wedding video to friends.

The honeymoon, such as it was, took place back at a luxury suite at the Palms immediately after the wedding. Then, Saturday night, Spears dined with her manager, her brother, Palms owner George Maloof and a couple of friends at a hotel steakhouse.

Little is known about Alexander. A source says that he and Spears were childhood friends who recently hooked up -- then hitched up. They had spent New Year's Eve together at the hotel's Rain nightclub, then retired to the suite.

Spears released her fourth album, "In the Zone," last November. It debuted at No. 1 on the album charts. Her concert tour begins in San Diego on March 2.
